honest prices
By buying directly from the makers, we ensure the right and honest price for you and for the artisan behind each piece. Each item is one of a kind. Handpicked for its authenticity, symbolism, and quality, with access to places most travellers never get to see.
La Source begins with Itto, Saïd’s mother, whose weaving inspired the very first pieces. Today, Christine's artistic expertise ensures clients receive thoughtful guidance in colour, shape, and style, while staying true to the cultural heritage behind every creation. With a sharp eye for symbolism and authenticity, Christine carefully curates each piece. Through Saïd’s deep roots and trusted connections, they gain access to remote villages and weaving communities that tourists never reach. Many of the rugs are created by their own family members, using techniques passed down for generations. For more than 15 years, their collaboration has honoured true craftsmanship, from shearing the sheep to washing, spinning, dyeing, and weaving the wool.
